Close Motor

The beautiful thing about telephoto lenses is getting your eye closer than it would be safe or even possible physically. The shots that fascinate me most are details of already large objects such as the engine of this plane coming in for a landing at Toronto Pearson Airport.

Prepared for Rain

Got my raincoat and my rain cover for the camera. I'm shooting the Audi Best Buddies Challenge and it's supposed to rain tomorrow.Today's Urbanities photo is one my friend Lindsey Ryder took of me at the Run for the Toad race on another rainy day.

Too Many Blogs

Hey, I just remembered this blog. What a nice idea. I think I will start posting again and try not to wait almost a year between posts. I guess as my 2008 365 project is a fail. Same for 2009. Oh well no time like the present to start 2010! Wish me luck in 2011! Time flies baby!

The nice thing about having multiple blogs out there is coming across them by mistake! My first image for 2010 is of a chipmunk who decided to wait for a train right on the track till the very last second to jump off. Well I assumed that was his game since a train never came but it makes for a more interesting story. No?

My favourite sport is People Watching. These guys were playing with their Nintendo Games but the guy on the right really wishes he didn't leave his at home!
